The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases announced an experiment of the first vaccine for pandemic corona virus. According to the experts, it will take a few months to know if this vaccine will work or not.

Moderna Therapeutics is the first biotechnology company behind the work. This vaccine code name is mRNA-1273 which is developed by NIH and Massachusetts.

This fast development of the vaccine is because researchers used their knowledge about related diseases like SARS and MERS.

If this vaccine would be a success, then it will take at least a year to reach the market. Four patients got the jab and the first person who received the jab was a 43-year-old lady in Seattle.

“We all feel so helpless. This is an amazing opportunity for me to do something,” Jennifer Haller told Associated Press.
